Should second chances be given to someone who has broken your trust?

 Maybe not. Just because you forgive someone doesn't mean they should get a second chance. They broke your trust, they have to work extra hard to build it.

Agreed.

And about my thing...yeah, really. Two pro-life people I've talked to have said that exact sentence when I bring up how the procedure will affect the mother if it isn't done by professionals. I think it's perfectly relevant to be using a counter-argument to find my own counter.

I know, right? It sucks how uncaring people can be. I know there's an injustice being done, but two wrongs do NOT make a right.
